Meet Courtney
Courtney Cook
Courtney Cook is a Communications Specialist at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. With over a decade of experience in the federal government, Courtney has led and supported communications planning, writing, editing, marketing, and outreach initiatives. Most recently, Courtney was competitively selected to participate in the agency’s Leadership Exploration and Development (LEAD) Program.
Courtney earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park, digital marketing certificate from Georgetown University, and a master’s degree in strategic communications and public relations from Trinity Washington University. She is also a Prosci® certified change practitioner.
Additionally, Courtney formerly served as President of a Toastmasters chapter, an organization focused on developing communication, public speaking, and leadership skills. Courtney also serves as an advisor and youth empowerment motivational speaker. Notably, she has been published in the third edition of Who’s Who in Black Washington, DC.
